Open to all members! We meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10 AM. This meeting is only open to members and guests of Local 324. For more information contact your Local Chairman.
Why Attend?
Unions are a democratic institution, as such your opinion matters. Local Meetings are the official avenue to voice your concerns and vote on important issues. By attending, you get the opportunity to participate in the decision making process.
Why can’t this be online?
While all meeting minutes must be submitted to the department of labor and are therefore public information, the union constitution prohibits video and audio recording of meetings.
The second reason these meetings are not published on-line, is to protect the freedom of speech and ideas of the individuals. It is vital to the health of the democratic process to be able to express ideas, strategize, and work through difficult subjects without fear of reprisals or harassment.
